Zaney Meyer, Lee's Ferry Arizona, USA


These pictures are taken at the site of the old ferry crossing at Lee's Ferry, Arizona. For many years, this was the only crossing for travelers from Arizona, New Mexico and Old Mexico journeying north. In 1907 and 1908, the famous Western author Zane Grey crossed the Colorado River here on his journeys to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to document Buffalo Jones lassoing mountain lions.
